The goal of the library is to promote a life long love of reading and to encourage a community of learners.
The Pre-K through 5th grade have weekly classes in the library teaching them information literacy. Grades 6th through 8th grades do not have scheduled classes but are encouraged to visit the library for research and pleasure reading books.
The library has a Scholastic Reading Club account.
